Our commitment
We design and build the marketplace so that information about Oman real-estate projects, payment plans, and developer details is reachable on screen readers, keyboard navigation, and assistive software. We continuously test against the WCAG 2.0 Level AA standard.
Compliance level
This site targets WCAG 2.0 Level AA and follows the WAI-ARIA 1.2 authoring practices for interactive widgets, plus the accessibility provisions applicable to UAE-licensed online services.
Built-in accessibility features
A floating accessibility widget is available on every page. From it you can:
- Scale the text size between 80% and 200%.
- Switch to high-contrast, inverted, or grayscale colour modes.
- Enable a dyslexia-friendly font and adjust line / letter spacing.
- Highlight headings and links for easier scanning.
- Read selected text aloud via text-to-speech (TTS).
- Pause animations, hide decorative images, and reveal alt-text.
- Use a content magnifier and an enlarged cursor.
- Navigate the page using a Tab-driven menu and a stronger focus ring.
- Open a structured sitemap and reset all adjustments in one click.
Your choices are remembered in your browser and applied to every page on the site.
Standards we follow
- WCAG 2.0 Level AA — the international baseline for web content accessibility.
- WAI-ARIA 1.2 — authoring practices for accessible rich-content widgets.
Known limitations
A small number of features are still being improved. We disclose them transparently:
- The interactive MapLibre map has partial screen-reader coverage for clustered markers; an alternative list view is available on every area page.
- Third-party developer brochures (PDF downloads) are not always fully tagged. If a brochure is not accessible, contact us and we will send the equivalent content in an accessible format.
Accessibility coordinator
Our accessibility coordinator is the Palmera Team. Email [email protected] — we acknowledge every report within two business days and aim to resolve in-scope issues within 14 days.
How to report an issue
You can report any accessibility barrier in three ways:
- Submit the dedicated complaint form — fastest and tracked end-to-end.
- Click the floating accessibility button → "Report an issue".
- Write directly to [email protected] with the page URL and a brief description.
Last review date
This site was last reviewed for accessibility on 14 May 2026. We re-check on a quarterly cadence and after every major release.
