Muriya is one of Oman's leading master-developers of Integrated Tourism Complexes, established in 2006 as a joint venture between Orascom Development Holding AG (Switzerland-listed; 34+ years of integrated-town experience; 10 destinations across 7 countries — Egypt (El Gouna, Taba Heights, Makadi Heights, O West), UAE (The Cove), Montenegro (Lustica Bay), Switzerland (Andermatt Swiss Alps), United Kingdom (West Carclaze Village), Oman) and Oman Tourism Development Company SAOC (OMRAN Group, the Sultanate's government tourism investment arm). The parent group manages 101.4 million m² of land bank globally. In Oman, Muriya delivers two of the country's largest seaside ITCs: Jebel Sifah — a 6.2 million sqm coastal town 35–45 minutes south-east of Muscat with a 117-berth marina, Harradine-designed 9-hole PGA golf course, Sifawy Boutique Hotel and over 1,500 residents from 20+ nationalities — and Hawana Salalah — Oman's flagship Khareef-season destination on 13.6 million sqm of Dhofar coastline with 7 km of beachfront, a 170-berth inland marina, the country's first Aquapark, four hotels (Salalah Rotana, Fanar, Juweira, Souly Lodge) and over 2,000 residents. Both communities offer 100% freehold ownership to all nationalities under Oman's ITC framework, with rental management via Muriya's in-house Wateera Property Management arm. Across its destinations, Muriya has delivered 7+ built communities and over 1,000 homes to date, with 1,100+ hotel rooms operating and another 1,000+ residences in active phases.
